George Harrison and Madonna at a Press Conference for Shanghai Surprise, London, 6 March 1986

George Harrison with Madonna Press Conference for Shanghai Surprise, London, 6 March 1986 George Harrison:   Good afternoon. On behalf of us both and HandMade Films, welcome. I’d like to ask for maybe a bit of order. Whoever wants to ask a question, maybe you could say your name, what newspaper you’re from, and also your intentions at the next general election. Question:   Madonna, what kind of boss is George Harrison and were you a Beatlemaniac? Madonna:   I wasn’t a Beatlemaniac. I don’t think I really appreciated their songs until I was much older. I was too young to really get caught up in the craze. But he’s a great boss, very understanding and sympathetic. Question:   What sort of advice has he given you? Madonna:   I think he’s given me more advice on how to deal with the press than how to work in the movie. Question:   Is it fun working with your husband, Sean Penn? Madonna:   Of course it is. He’s a pro. He’s worked on several films and his exper

March 6, 2015: Rebel Heart is the thirteenth studio album released by Madonna...!!

Rebel Heart  is the thirteenth studio album by Madonna . It was released on March 6, 2015, by  Interscope Records . Following the completion of the  MDNA  era, Madonna worked on the album throughout 2014, co-writing and co-producing it with various musicians, including  Diplo ,  Avicii , and  Kanye West . She teased by uploading pictures of her recording sessions on her  Instagram  account. Working with a number of collaborators posed problem for Madonna in keeping a cohesive sound and direction for  Rebel Heart , unlike her previous efforts where only a few people were involved.   The matically  Rebel Heart  represents the two different sides of the singer, her romantic and her rebellious side. The themes grew organically during the writing and recording sessions. Musically, it is a pop record which merges an array of genres such as 1990s house ,  trap  and  reggae , as well as the usage of acoustic guitars and  gospel choir . Some of the songs are autobiographical in nature wh

"Love Don't Live Here Anymore" was shot on March 4, 1996, at the Confitería El Molino in Buenos Aires, Argentina, during her day off from filming Evita.

Music video and live performance Madonna performing the mashup of "HeartBreakCity" and "Love Don't Live Here Anymore", during the  Rebel Heart Tour  (2015–16). The music video was directed by Jean-Baptiste Mondino, who worked with Madonna in her videos for "Open Your Heart", "Justify My Love" and "Human Nature", and shot on March 4, 1996, at the Confitería El Molino in Buenos Aires, Argentina, during her day off from filming  Evita .    Maria Gallagher was the producer, with Jean-Yves Escoffier serving as director of photography. It was a Bandits Production.   In her  Evita  diaries, published by  Vanity Fair  magazine in 1996, Madonna made reference to the video shoot. In her writings, she specifically mentioned forgetting the lyrics of the song, suggesting she was having an identity crisis of sorts, trying to juggle her own identity with that of her role of  Eva Perón  in  Evita . Madonna was also in the early stag

Madonna released "Like a Prayer" as the lead single from the album of the same name on March 3, 1989.

Madonna recorded “Like a Prayer” for her  1989 studio album of the same name . Sire Records released it as the lead single from the album on March 3, 1989. Written and produced by Madonna and Patrick Leonard, “Like a Prayer” signaled a more artistic and personal approach to songwriting from Madonna, who felt she needed to cater more to her adult audience. The video for the song was quite controversial, primarily for its portrayal of a black Jesus and other supposedly sacrilegious religious imagery. The  music video , directed by  Mary Lambert , portrays Madonna as a witness to a murder of a white girl by white supremacists. While a black man is arrested for the murder, Madonna hides in a church for safety seeking strength to go forth as a witness. The clip depicts Catholic symbols such as  stigmata , Ku Klux Klan-style  cross burning , and a dream about kissing a black saint. After its release, the  Vatican  condemned the video, while family and religious groups protes
