The MDNA Tour Yankee Stadium NY

Madonna Doesn't Hold a Grudge Is that her secret for staying so young?

In case you missed the "drama" recently between Elton John and Madonna, let me catch you up. The glamorous 50-something singer, songwriter, dancer and entrepreneur (to name a few) is on her MDNA World Tour and along the way has been subjected to a few not-so-nice "jabs" from Sir Elton John. Earlier in the year, Sir Elton suggested that the Material Girl "lip-sync good" before her Superbowl performance and last month he said, "Why is she such a nightmare? Sorry, her career is over." There's more, but isn't that harsh enough? Anyway, apparently she took the high road and all is forgiven. According to The Sun , the two ran into each other at a posh restaurant in the South of France and were spotted hugging, laughing and smiling. Good for her - she doesn't hold a grudge! Could that be one of the superstar's secrets for why she looks so amazing in her almost-mid-fifties? It has been proven over and over that stress ages...

Madonna opens gym in Sydney

Madonna may not be visiting Australia anytime soon, but her brand new venture in central Sydney is putting fitness first. Yesterday the V-Club gym in downtown Druitt Street rebranded and reopened as part of the singer’s own Hard Candy global chain of fitness one-stop-shops. This afternoon Same Same spoke to a staff member there who told us the gym is now decked out “with Madonna all around us” and that her music will now always play around the venue. When we were put on hold briefly, ‘Like a Prayer’ was played to us. The venue spans four floors, with seven studios and even an outdoor training rooftop. Members have the option to choose from over 30 different styles of workouts, several designed by Madonna herself. “Madonna works out daily, even during her world tours,” say the Hard Candy team. “She has used thousands of fitness centres and trained with some of the top personal trainers and dancers in the world. From this experience, she has developed a strong visio...

Madonna issues apology to Australian fans

Despite assurances from  Madonna ’s manager,  Guy Oseary , that the pop icon would play Australia as part of her MDNA World Tour, it was announced last month that the singer would skip the country for the second tour in a row. The anticipated MDNA shows would have marked  Madonna ’s first Aussie dates in 20 years. " Madonna 's tour will end in South America in December as planned. That's all we can say,"  a spokesperson said at the time. Now,  Madonna  has stepped up to offer a personal apology to her Australian fans by way of a recorded youtube message. “I am really and truly sorry to have disappointed you,”  began Madonna.  “That’s something that I don’t feel very good about. I was going to write a letter to everybody but I thought it would be better if I just filmed myself and you could hear it from me personally.” “I can promise you in my heart of hearts that it was my intention to come again but, like the last time, my children a...
