The pair fell out after Elton, 60, publicly accused Madge of lip-synching after she won a Best Live Act award in 2004. ‘Madonna, best f**king live act? F*** off! Since when has lip-synching been live?’ he declared. Now they’re put their differences behind them and have kissed and made up at the GQ Men Of The Year Awards in London. ‘[I’ve] written a grovelling apology and offered to join the Kabbalah,’ Elton joked on stage as he introduced Madonna, 49.

LIAM GALLAGHER'S CAREER INSPIRED BY MADONNA

Liam Gallagher says Madonna's 'Like a Virgin' was the first song to evoke his love of music. The 44-year-old rocker has had an illustrous career but says his passion for singing started after he was "whacked" over the head with a hammer at school and woke up in hospital humming the queen of pop's 1984 hit. Liam's career could have been much different if it wasn't for Madonna's song coming into his head, as he revealed he was more into football than music at the time. He told the Daily Star newspaper: "I was always into football and I was never really into music. "But then I got into some trouble at school, this geezer whacked me with this hammer and split my head open. When I woke up the first piece of music which went into my brain was 'Like a Virgin' by Madonna. "I was sitting in hospital, singing along to 'Like a Virgin'. I was thinking: 'What the f***?'. S...

AUGUST 16, 2017 // Lourdes Leon Comes Into Her Own in the New MadeMe x X-Girl Campaign

As a streetwear label “by girls, for girls,” MadeMe made headlines last year for its collaborative revamp of  X-Girl , the beloved alternative ’90s label. The campaign images  featured Coco Gordon Moore , the daughter of X-Girl creator and Sonic Youth singer Kim Gordon. To celebrate this season’s collection, MadeMe founder Erin Magee looked for a face that would evoke the attitude of both female-centric labels—and  Lourdes  “Lola” Leon,  Madonna ’s daughter and the second campaign’s star, had been on her mind for quite a while. The 20-year-old possesses a ’90s-minded style that fits well with the MadeMe and X-Girl ethos. “I personally wanted to work with Lola for a long time,” says Magee. “I would see her on Instagram a lot and would see the stuff she would wear. It is really close to a MadeMe vibe. She’d wear an old Polo Sport or an old Tommy Hilfiger piece.” In the images, Leon poses in fist-size hoops with straight, inky black hair—a natural, brooding fit...

BRINDISI - Madonna is in Puglia. The popstar arrived with a private jet, landed on the night at Brindisi airport, along with their children, to celebrate the 59th birthday on August 16th. Everything is ready for the welcome at Borgo Egnazia, the starry home in the Savelletri countryside in Fasano (Brindisi) where he had already stayed last year. It is not the first statement of love for the territory that hosted the artist last summer. The first landing in Puglia of Lady Ciccone dates back to July 25, 2016. On that date, Madonna published the photo of a sunset between the walls of the extrasignal relay with a margin commentary: "Stairway to heaven ... The evidence of its brilliance," revealing his stay at Savelletri. Not only Valle d'Itria, Madonna Louise Veronica Ciccone danced in the villages of Lecce and visited the Abbey of Santa Maria a Cerrate. MADONNA INTERVIEW : SMASH HITS (JULY 31 – AUGUST 13 1985)

NAME:  It’s really Madonna. Madonna Ciccone. I never became aware that it was such an unusual name until I moved to New York and started getting my name on programmes; people assumed it was a stage name. ANY NICKNAMES?  My father called me Nonny — I think that’s how I said my name when I was little. I gave myself a graffiti tag too: “Boy Toy”. BORN:  In Detroit. What year? Why do I have to tell everybody that all the time? FIRST CONCERT:  David Bowie at Cobo Hall in Detroit. Oh, it was the most marvellous thing I’d ever done in my life! I was punished severely for going. PREVIOUS OCCUPATIONS:  Before this blasphemous job? I worked at Burger King and McDonald’s and was a lifeguard and scooped ice cream. I was once a painter’s model: I took all my clothes off and they pretended to draw my body artistically. FIRST CRUSH:  The first boy I ever loved was Ronny Howard in the fifth grade class. He had real white-blond hair and sky blue eyes. He was s...
