Even though they have been pals for over ten years, Gwyneth Paltrow is going to take some time away from the 'Material Girl'.
'Everything always revolved around Madonna,' a Paltrow source told Us Weekly. 'She is finally done.'
The Avengers starlet, 39, will be focusing on her other A-list friendships… enter Cameron Diaz, 40.

And even though Paltrow and Diaz have been friends for years, she has recently turned her into a closer confidante. 'Gwyneth is a nurturer,' the source explained of Chris Martin's wife. '(Cameron) is bummed about being single, so Gwyneth sees her as a project.'
Apparently, Paltrow – who's been married to the Coldplay frontman for six years - is making it her mission to find Diaz a man.
The What to Expect When You Are Expecting actress was most recently linked and had an on-off-again relationship with New York Yankees star Alex Rodriguez, who famously broke Diaz's heart. - entertainmentwise.com
Fergie not pregnant
Poor women of Hollywood: You eat a cheeseburger (or pizza, a la Lady Gaga) and all the world puts you on a baby bump watch.
Fergie, 37, is the latest star compelled to quash pregnancy rumours: '(People ask if I'm pregnant) every time I fluctuate a few pounds.
'Like right now, I'm a couple pounds up. Sometimes I go a couple pounds down and I wear the clothes that are more fitted, but people kind of look at me because they're expecting (that) it's that time.
'(Husband Josh Duhamel and I) do hope for children and that will be coming up, but it's not yet.' - aceshowbiz.com
Protecting fertility
A discovery about how cells die could lead to ways to protect fertility in women having cancer treatment, researchers suggested.
Australian scientists found two specific proteins caused the death of early egg cells in the ovaries.
Blocking them meant cells survived the effects of radiotherapy, according to the study published in the journal Molecular Cell.
A UK expert said the research was an 'encouraging starting point'.
This causes many female cancer patients to become infertile. Low numbers of egg cells can also lead to a woman going through an early menopause. - bbc.co.uk
