ISRAELI MADONNA HACKER REARRESTED FOR MORE CYBER CRIMES

Police say additional hacking was carried out after the suspect’s release from custody pending indictment, after his arrest on January 21st.

An Israeli man arrested last month for hacking pop superstar Madonna and leaking some of her unreleased recordings online has been arrested by police again, on suspicion of carrying out further cyber crimes, police said Monday.

Police said that the additional hacking was carried out after the suspect’s release from custody pending indictment, after his arrest on January 21st. They say that they believe that the latest cyber crimes again targeted Madonna, but they are not certain.

Aspiring singer Adi Lederman was arraigned last month on suspicion of stealing unreleased recordings by Madonna and releasing them online, following an investigation carried out by the FBI, the Israel Police, and a private investigator hired by Madonna’s management.

Lederman, who faces charges of computer trespassing, fraud, and intellectual property offenses, auditioned on air in 2012 for the Israeli TV show Kochav Nolad (“A Star is Born”), Israel’s version of American Idol.

In December, a series of demos from Madonna’s album-in-progress, Rebel Heart, were leaked online. Following the breach, Madonna released six tracks and moved up the release date of the full album, which was due to come out in March.

“I have been violated as a human and an artist!” Madonna wrote on Instagram following the hack.
