Stella McCartney admitted that she nearly lost her cool when she first met Madonna, now one of her best friends. When the singer first turned up for a fitting, Stella nearly flooded her apartment. "Madonna came to my studio in London when I had just left college," said Stella. "I was running a bath and was totally unprepared. I thought, 'Oh my God she's here' - panicked and ran downstairs to let her in. There were paparazzi everywhere taking her picture, which really flustered me. When I ran back upstairs the bath had over run and had started to flood my flat. It was a nightmare! Then, when she tried my clothes on, I told her she had a fat arse. She laughed and bought some."
