Hmm, hmm Say goodbye Not knowing when The truth in my whole life began Say goodbye Not knowing how to cry You taught me that And I'll remember The strength that you gave me Now that I'm standing on my own I'll remember The way that you saved me I'll remember Inside I was a child That could not mend a broken wing Outside I looked for a way To teach my heart to sing And I'll remember The love that you gave me Now that I'm standing on my own I'll remember The way that you changed me I'll remember I learned To let go Of the illusion That we can possess I learned to let go I travel in stillness And I'll remember happiness I'll remember, hmm I'll remember, hmm And I'll remember The love that you gave me Now that I'm standing on my own I'll remember The way that you changed me I'll remember (I'll rememeber) Now I'll never be afraid to cry Now I finally have a reason why...

Maclean's Magazine - Madonna -May 13, 1991

May 12, 1998 // Madonna's "Ray of Light" video was premiered on MTV Live.

Madonna stated that when she makes an album, she "puts [her] soul on it", but a music video is a lot more working with a director. With the  Ray of Light  album, she wanted to have videos with a fresh expression, and she wanted new directors to replace of the old ones she had worked with for years. She felt that Jonas Ã…kerlund has a special way of working.   She commented that she and the director "met on the telephone, and he sent me a whole bunch of treatments I didn't like. But he kept at it and didn't give up".  The singer also mentioned that the video is basically "a day in the life of the earth to show that we are rushing forward to the end of the 1900s century at full speed. I think Jonas made an excellent interpretation of the song, although he forced me to dance like crazy for two days. He's a tough director". Ã…kerlund stated that "It was damn good! Madonna was pleased with the quick result and [is] a dream to work with — it w...

EXCLUSIVE: Danny Dyer reveals 'first w*** was Madonna' !!

CANDIhere anything Danny won't talk about? The soap hardman appeared on Channel Four's Very British Problems to dish the dirt on his teen antics. But the actor soon lowered the tone as he recounted his first foray into masturbation alongside the queen of pop. "My first w*** was Madonna, I was a big fan of Madonna," he confessed. "So it wasn't the girls in school, I think my first pedal was over Madonna, mid-eighties when she was fit." GETTY SEX SYMBOL: Teenage Danny had the hots for Madonna Now you may be thinking that the Rebel Heart legend's recent Met Gala ensemble, which  flashed both boob and booty with cut-out panels , must have got Danny hot under the collar. But alas, his infatuation is no more. "I wouldn't w*** over her now – she looks f*****," he quipped. May 11th, 1991 // Wayne's World: Madonna Fantasy

Original Airdate:  May 11th, 1991 "It was terrifying," Mike Myers has said of kissing Madonna. And no wonder: In 1991, there was no more intimidating star than the just-banned-from-MTV Material Girl. Her fantasy rendezvous with Wayne and Garth was probably  SNL 's most perfect pop culture convergence ever: One of the most famous people on earth, writhing in the black-and-white world of "Justify My Love," the most controversial video of all time, speaking in the dopey slang ("No way!" "Way!") of the most popular recurring characters since the Blues Brothers. And we were only approaching Waynemania, which would peak in 1992 with their feature film. During shooting, Myers and Dana Carvey had a personal falling-out, and were never quite able to re-capture the magic – though that didn't stop Lorne Michaels from producing a sequel or doing the sketch seven more times.
