Madonna's daughter Lourdes Leon enjoys a bike ride with her father Carlos as she gets set to head to Michigan for college

Lourdes Leon and her father Carlos rode bikes together in New York City on Thursday during her summer break before starting college.

The 17-year-old daughter of Madonna wore a sporty T-shirt depicting basketball scenes and cut-off denim shirts for the father-daughter ride in the SoHo neighbourhood.

Lourdes had her long brown hair with blonde streaks pulled back into a high ponytail and accessorised with a few necklaces, several bracelets and multiple rings.

Her father Carlos, 47, who is a personal trainer, comedian and actor rode around in a black tank-top that displayed his bulging biceps.

He also wore cuffed blue jeans and sneakers and sported thick facial stubble while wheeling around in sunglasses.

Madonna and Carlos were in a relationship when they welcomed Lourdes in October 1996, but they split in May 1997.
