Promoting her new book on USA Today, Jennifer Lopez talked about Madonna being an inspiration to her.

I get so inspired by other women.
I remember being a little girl and watching Madonna jogging in Central Park, thinking “wow, she’s rich, famous and successful, an amazing performer… and she’s out there working. She doesn’t need to be out there running. But that’s what you have to do. You have to work hard.”
Just that little thing… just seeing that one picture inspired me.
I would have liked this message when I was in my twenties or in my teens.
Just that planted seed could have made me start thinking differently about myself, about my life.
