“It was like losing my arm”, said Madonna about Lola leaving home for college.

During the first part of the interview with Australia’s Today Show’s entertainment editor Richard Wilkins (watch video below), Madonna talked, in addition to her love for Taylor Swift, also about how she was a mess when Lourdes left home for college:

It’s hard letting them go out into the world but when she left home to go to college I was a mess.
It was really hard letting her go. I’ve come to terms with it but yes I miss her and she’s a part of me, it was like losing my arm.
