When stopping by "The Ellen DeGeneres Show", the popstar took time to weigh in on the women who were following in her footsteps, including longtime collaborator Britney Spears. She also dished on her enemies including Elton John  Madge was asked to give her responses to the people Ellen DeGeneres was going to name. When Britney's name was mentioned, the Material Girl was quick to say she's a "good kisser." While it didn't take long for her to give her opinion about the Southern belle, she made a long pause to carefully choose her word to describe Lady GaGa.  Other names presented by Ellen included Pink, Rihanna, Jennifer Lopez and Nicki Minaj. Pop star Madonna has bought her daughter Lourdes an apartment for her 16th birthday. She decided the property would be a perfect gift for her daughter to show her how much she trusts her. "Lourdes was thrilled. She wants it done up to her taste and then it'll be decided who shares with her and when she moves in," dailystar quoted a source as saying. The apartment is located a few blocks from her family home on the Upper East side of Manhattan and also near the Kabbalah Centre. The amount that the 54-year-old paid for the property is undisclosed but it is 'in a secure block with a lot of security and access to a swimming pool and gym'. The expensive gift comes shortly after it was reported their relationship had become strained in recent months, with Lourdes rebelling against Madonna, and threatening to move in with her father  Carlos Leon.

Pop star Madonna has been named the best-selling female singles artist in Britain's music chart history. The 54-year-old defeated Rihanna to take the title by selling more than 17.8 million (copies of her) singles in Britain since the release of her debut track ?Holiday? back in 1984  reports contactmusic.com. Rihanna came in second with a sales figures of 11.4 million in the seven years since she released her first single, ?Pon de Replay?, in 2005. According to The Official Charts Company, Australian superstar  Kylie Minogue    took third place with 10.2 million singles sales during her career of 25 years, while Whitney Houston grabbed the fourth spot with 8.5 million and Lady Gaga with 7.3 million.
