The Queen of Pop, Madonna, gets the ultimate in star treatment as MTV pimps her ride! Madonna requested that a white van be “pimped” to star in her “Sorry” music video, the Pimp My Ride team set to work on Madonna’s van. The video, for Madonnas single Sorry, features the vans pimped out disco-themed features, which include lilac leather couches, a mirrored disco ball in the ceiling, velvet walls, fake snakeskin columns and big fat stereo system. Led by inimitable DJ Tim Westwood, the MTV crew return for a one off special to honour the show’s number one celebrity fan with the ride of her life, exclusively on MTV, Sunday February 19th at 9.30pm. Madonna is about to become the envy of the showbiz world thanks to Pimp Madonna’s Ride.

She added to her sizeable brood last week by adopting two twin girls from Malawi. But  Madonna  was enjoying some me-time on Monday as she attended the Phillipp Plein show for  New York  Fashion Week.  Making her first public appearance since the adoption, the 58-year-old singer seemed in great spirits as she settled into the front row alongside  Kylie Jenner . Madonna looked happy and relaxed as she waited for the models to start coming down the catwalk. Her blonde hair was softly styled and she wore flawless make-up including lip color that matched the shade of her coat. She wore black fingerless gloves and dangly earrings.  Madonna adopted son David Banda and daughter Mercy James from Malawi in 2006 and 2009 respectively and has two other children, Lourdes and Rocco, from previous relationships. She had denied reports that she wanted to adopt again after she spotted visiting Malawi earlier this year, claiming at the time that her trip was for her char

The music video was directed by Swedish director  Johan Renck , and was released on February 13, 1999. Inspired by the  Arthur Golden  1997 novel  Memoirs of a Geisha , the video portrays Madonna as a  geisha , dancing in a small room. The red kimono worn by her in the video was designed by French fashion designer  Jean Paul Gaultier . It was worn by the singer during her performance of the song at the  41st Annual Grammy Awards . "Nothing Really Matters" is cited as one of Madonna's most underrated singles to date. The costume and music video has been cited by journalist and academics as one of Madonna's most iconic and best  re-inventions .

On  February 13 1995 ,  Madonna  made a surprise  appearance  on CBS-TV's  Late Show with David Letterman . In her first visit back to the Ed Sullivan Theater after her controversial 1994  appearance ,  Madonna  presented  Letterman  with a  Valentines Day  gift.
