From Material Girl to mother-of-four, Madonna stepped up for women at The Sound of Change Live concert at Twickenham Stadium in the United Kingdom on Saturday (June 1). Serving as a presenter this evening, the "Like a Prayer" singer said in a statement, "sixty percent of the children in the world NOT in school are girls. Two-thirds of the world's illiterate are women. I do not accept this. We need to change this and we will change this." Twickenham Stadium will be replete with famous folks as they all come together to raise awareness and funding for girls’ and women’s empowerment issues around the globe. Celebrities also slated to attend include Jessica Chastain, Freida Pinto, Zoe Saldana, James Franco, Blake Lively, Jennifer Lopez, Jada Pinkett-Smith, Salma Hayek, and Beyonce Knowles.
