10 reasons Madonna’s ‘Living for Love’ Video is her best in years.

Madonna ‘s new video “ Living for Love ” debuted on Snapchat on Thursady, but we finally get to see it on Madonna Vevo channel in all its bull-baiting glory. Check it out why it’s her best single video since “Hung Up”, according to HITFIX.COM :   1. That unusual choreography with all of its masculine posturing and grappling. It’s like if Madonna joined the man-slave brawl at the end of the “Express Yourself” video. 2. That matador costume is gorgeous. Madonna’s idols Frida Kahlo and Marlene Dietrich would both covet it. 3. This is her Annie Lennox “Diva” moment. She’s accepting the role of a veteran and playing on familiar imagery from her career (“Take a Bow,” specifically) without forfeiting any of her signature nerve, headmistress grandeur, or ingenuity. She’s a raging stateswoman strutting on broken glass. 4. The song’s hymn vibe is a perfect match for the studied, solemn movements of a matador. 5. She looks incredible. That body! She’s like if Belinda Carlisl

Bustier Designer Shady Zeineldine: Madonna is everything for me

Madonna’s “Living for Love” video, which was released today on YouTube , features an embellished nude bustier by the Lebanese designer Shady Zeineldine worn for most of the dance sequences. The piece is a masculine-feminine mix of corsetry and a tuxedo-like top. The sort of tight, sexy, gender-bending thing we’ve come to expect from the Queen of Pop. Zeineldine told Style.com … I’m a longtime, big fan of her. She’s everything for me. I tried to do something matador-inspired but with a touch of femininity, something more delicate. I used many kinds of lace and [decided on the] nude color for the lining to show her sexy body. The collaboration came about through Madonna’s longtime stylist, B. Akerlund, and Zeineldine’s public relations team. After visiting the designer’s press showroom in Los Angeles, Akerlund requested he send sketches for the video. Madonna and her team then sent a brief of matador references (presumably including Dolce & Gabbana’s Spring c

MADONNA’S ‘LIVING FOR LOVE’ VIDEO IS THE SINGER’S BEST WORK IN A DECADE

Madonna dropped off the music video for “Living for Love” on Snapchat’s doorstep Thursday afternoon, inching closer toward the (official) release of her 13th studio album, “Rebel Heart,” on March 10. The clip finds Madonna playing matador to a host of men dressed as bulls in a red theater that glitters like a Latin-infused “Moulin Rouge!” Its imagery matches the anthemic heft for which many applauded the track when it hit iTunes in December. For a song that carries the torch of “Express Yourself,” the singer dons a leotard reminiscent of 2005’s iconic “Hung Up” and emerges victorious amid an army that stands no chance against a warrior who “picked up my crown [and] put it back on my head” — a sentiment especially potent in the wake of the multiple leaks that have plagued her new music. This is Madonna’s theater, after all. Football players fawned over her in “Give Me All Your Luvin'” and she gyrated her way through a callback to the provocateur years in the bla

At least she's comfortable! Madonna leaves another tough rehearsal session in pyjamas ahead of Grammy performance

Madonna fans are eagerly awaiting her performance at the Grammy Awards on Sunday. And the queen of pop is promising a show-stopping affair, if the hard work she is putting into it is anything to go by. Madonna was seen leaving yet another gruelling rehearsal session at a Beverly Hills studio on Wednesday. Gruelling: Madonna left a studio in Beverly Hills on Wednesday, after rehearsing for her Grammy performance And the 56-year-old made sure to stay comfortable in a pair of blue and white pyjama bottoms. Madonna also wore a black Brian Lichtenberg hoodie pulled up over her head, and grey trainers, and had a band on her ring finger. The singer was make-up free, but hid her face under a pair of large sunglasses as she made her way out of the studio and into an awaiting car. Comfort comes first: Fortunately the pop star looked cosy in pyjama bottoms, a hoodie and trainers Two days earlier, Madonna - who will also take t

“REBEL HEART” IS A WONDERFULL ADDITION TO MADONNA’S DISCOGRAPHY

It’s been years since Madonna had released some new material which would be good enough to please both critics and fans. We all remember the sweet, yet underwhelming disco-throwback “Hard Candy” offered us, and well as the carefree euro-dance of “MDNA”. Both of these albums, while containing some good songs, weren’t strong enough as a body of work. On “Hard Candy”, Madonna was often out-shadowed by Pharrell, Justin Timberlake, and Timbaland’s productions. On “MDNA”, she tried too hard to please young fans with basic dance music and generic singles that the rich lyrical layer (mostly treating of her divorce with Guy Ritchie) was put aside in favor of cliché songwriting (remember “Turn Up the Radio”?). These periods were hard to swallow for fans who knew and loved “Ray of Light” or even “American Life” for its lyrical depths and experimental music, or even “Confessions”, for its re-invention of Madonna’s persona. The “Rebel Heart” era will be remembered mostly for its ma
