Moby: I’ve been friends with Madonna for ever

To promote his latest video “Almost Home”, Moby took to Reddit and answered fan questions during an AMA (Ask Me Anything). Here’s what he said when someone asked him if he’d consider working on Madonna’s new album. Here’s what the said… I’ve been friends with madonna for ever. in fact she was at my 3rd solo performance in 1990, and there were only 10 people in the audience. Back in 2000, Moby also mentioned Madonna in an MTV interview… Madonna expressed some interest in possibly working together and I would love to, because I think she has a beautiful voice, and she’s obviously very talented. But I’m on tour forever, and maybe when it comes time to make my own record, if she wants to help out, I’d love to have her involved. But I’m not a producer. I really just want to make my own records.

The Smiths were scheduled to go on around 1AM, also on the bill that night was MC Lovebug Starski, hip-hop pioneers Whodini and a then unknown singer/dancer who went by the name of Madonna. 07/02/2014 15:26   Madonna's mini-me! Miley Cyrus is naked on yet another magazine cover. The "We Can't Stop" singer is making an appearance on the upcoming cover of Vogue Germany's March issue. On the cover (ahem, make that three!) the 21-year-old songstress channels her best Madonna with her blonde locks in curls. In one feature, Cyrus seductively caresses her red lips with her fingers in a stunning close-up. "very xxxited about this cover," she tweeted of the sultry snapshot on Feb. 6. No. 2 shows a full-length body shot in a black bra and high-waisted retro undies, and in the third Cyrus goes topless, and covers her chest with both her hands. The look is reminiscent to Madonna channeling Marilyn Monroe in her 1985 music video for "Material Girl." Earlier this week, the "Wrecking Ball" singer's March 2014 cover of W magazine was also revealed. Cyrus stripped ...

Nile Rodgers: 'I don't have any unreleased Madonna songs'

Nile Rodgers has confirmed that he doesn’t have any leftover songs from his session with Madonna in the 1980s. The Chic guitarist worked with the singer on her classic album  Like a Virgin  and reminisced about how she was very efficient in the recording studio. "I don’t have any unreleased Madonna material because Madonna knew exactly what she wanted her album to be when we did  Like a Virgin ,” Rodgers revealed during his Google+ Hangout with  Billboard . "The only song that I had any input of bringing into the mix was a cover of Rolls Royce’s ballad ‘Love Don’t Live Here Anymore’. That was a final last-minute decision. "The way I make records, believe it or not, there are not many outtakes in my world." He added: “As Madonna would say, ‘Time is money and the money is mine’. The tape cost money and things like that, so when we were making records we had to be very budget-conscious. "The great thing about Chic is that we do it very efficient...
