Brand new Madonna song produced by Cleo Nasser!! Cleo Nasser used samples from several songs to create a never heard before song. Click To Listen Music lovers around the world can now check out a newly created track with the actual voice of the Queen of Pop... Madonna. Available on Legitimix and called Love Me, Leave Me. Cleo Nasser, a Madge superfan whos been remixing Madonna since the mid 90s, wanted to try something new: create a song by stitching together Madonna acapellas from the last two decades, digitally remaking the tone, pitch and timing of the words to give a whole new meaning. The Nasser-reconstructed Madonna lyrics were then remixed by a group of producers dedicated to remixing the Queen of Pop, part of a collective known as the Madonna Remixers Alliance. One of the highlights of the project is that there was no intention to deface the vocals to the point of making it impossible for people to recognize them. "I want Madonna fans to identify where e

Madonna for Noisey: I want to live forever and I’m going to!

Noisey  interviewed Madonna at Interscope’s HQ in New York. Madonna’s look… A slight five foot five upped a few inches thanks to black bejeweled heels. She’s immaculate in a semi-sheer, intermittently beaded silk Pamella Roland dress that hangs modestly below the knee. Still, it’s slit in all the right places, at the arms and the décolletage, her black lace bra playing peekaboo. She looks astonishing—even with that gold and diamond grill—her eyeliner impeccably flicked outlining watchful blues eyes. The interview… Noisey:  Your list of collaborators on this record is really a who’s who of the current music landscape. Of course you’ve been collaborating for years, but songwriting is so personal—particularly on this record—and it always strikes me as such an intimate space to invite what is often times ostensibly a stranger into the room to work with. Is it ever hard to bare your soul to these producers—who are often men? Does that ever get easier? How do you break down those bar

Madonna’s Ghosttown video shot.

Terrence Howard , Empire tv series star, few minutes ago wrote on twitter that the  Ghosttown  video was shot! Also  Madonna  hinted something about the video shooting on Instagram:

Take A Look Inside Madonna’s $100 Million Blue-Chip Art Collection.

We already know that  Madonna  once possessed several works by Basquiat (which were eventually destroyed by the artist—see  Madonna Says Jean-Michel Basquiat Took Back and Destroyed Paintings He Gave Her ) and is the proud owner of one of only five paintings  Frida Kahlo  created during her time in Detroit (which she refused to loan to the Detroit Institute of Arts for their current exhibition—see  Madonna Refused to Loan a Frida Kahlo Painting to Detroit Institute of Arts for Blockbuster Show ). But what else does the Material Girl’s art collection, rumored to be worth over  $100 million , hold? Here’s a look by  ArtNetNews  at some of the work she’s acquired over the years. Update: DJ Scott Mills agrees with BBC Radio 1's Madonna ban Do radio stations care more about Madonna’s age than her music?

Update: DJ Scott Mills agrees with BBC Radio 1′s Madonna ban Talking to  The Mirror , British radio DJ Scott Mills, who has his own show on BBC Radio 1, explains why he agrees with the ban… I don’t actually mind the new single. Do I think Radio 1 should play it? Probably not. They’re trying to get the average age of the listener down and, to be honest, most Madonna fans are in their 30s and 40s. When you’ve got more relevant up-and-coming artists and bands and there’s a space on the playlist, then it’s in the BBC Radio 1 remit that it should go to a British artist anyway. So although DJs have no say on what does or doesn’t get played, I completely understand why they don’t play her. I’ve never actually interviewed Madonna but I am slightly terrified of her. But hey, in a couple of years, I can go over and play Madonna on Radio 2! — Update: BBC Radio 1 Statement added BBC Radio 1 denies banning Madonna and posted the following on their  Facebook page … Radio 1 does no

March 20, 1990, Vogue was released as the first single from Madonna’s second soundtrack album, I’m Breathless.

March 20, 1990, Vogue was released  as the first single from Madonna’s second soundtrack album,  I’m Breathless . The song was written by  Madonna  with producer  Shep Pettibone ; it was recorded between December 1989 and January 1990; the music video was filmed by director  David Fincher  at The Burbank Studios on February 10 and 11 and premiered on MTV on March 29, 1990. Both the song and the video quickly became some of the most iconic works in Madonna’s career. In his exclusive interview a few years ago, dancer and award winning choreographer  Luis Camacho  remembers how he auditioned for the video and how was being directed by Fincher on the set. I sent in a video tape because I heard she was looking for “voguers”. We eventually met her and did a private audition for her. Madonna then asked us to come to the regular audition to see how we would match up with the other dancers. And at that audition, Madonna was impressed that we had technical dance technique as

Madonna Sings Beautiful Acoustic Song On Ellen Without Pulling A Mariah Carey

Madonna  has never been known as a great vocalist. A lot of fans think that’s unfair, especially since they believe she sings with more feeling than just about any other female singer. After all, this is the same singer who won a Golden Globe for  Evita . She has made mostly electronic dance songs since her  Evita  days, and some of them contain a ridiculous amount of auto-tune. Wednesday, on  Ellen , Madonna showed the world once again just what her voice is made of. She performed a beautiful version of “ Joan of Arc ” and had Twitter lighting up with compliments. “Joan of Arc” is one of the tracks from Madonna’s latest album,  Rebel Heart . Despite selling more copies than any other album in the United States this past week, it came in at No. 2 behind the soundtrack to  Empire . Many fans have complained that Madonna was cheated out of the No. 1 position by  Billboard ‘s new chart methodologies that in no way represent what the public is consuming.  Billboard  has yet

“REBEL HEART” IS A TESTAMENT TO MADONNA’S STAYING POWER

Never mind the album leaking in its entirety three months before its release date. Never mind it leaking for a second time (then, in full Super Deluxe format) a month before hitting the stores. Madonna’s REBEL HEART is a testament to endurance in a dying industry . Despite adversities, Madonna’s latest studio album debuts atop of the charts in several countries around the world. And if not in the “pole position,” REBEL HEART arrives at the top 5 best selling albums everywhere. In the US, REBEL HEART debuts at #2, despite having sold more units than its competition, the soundtrack for TV show Empire. Yes, Madonna’s album sold more copies, but it’s not No. 1—so how does that work? Billboard  started computing online streaming and single sales along with album sales for its album chart. Makes sense? Of course not.  But pay attention to Billboard’s final tally: you don’t see them saying “albums sold” (it’s not a real number anymore). Their new lingo is “ equivalent ” sales: “E
