MADONNA INTERVIEW : VOGUE (AUGUST 2005)

In her 40s – author , songstress, actress, filmmaker – Madonna has influence and reach that may be global, but her base for family and friends is focused on and English country estate. Vogue Paris  August 2004: Madonna By Dara Block It is not very common for  Vogue Paris  to feature a major celebrity on the cover so when the magazine decided to have Madonna on its August 2004 cover I definitely took notice. Leave it to  Vogue Paris  to make such a smart and intriguing cover image with one of the world's most renowned entertainers. I love that it is a close-up of Madonna with her hair covering her face, rather than an obvious shot of which, we are always used to seeing of  The Material Girl . Plus, I love the way those words are written across the cover... it simply says  exclusif Madonna dans les yeux,  which beautifully translates as...  through Madonna's eyes.  So much mystery is conveyed and I appreciate that the words correspond so alluringly to the image. On April 11, 2012, Madonna's manager  Guy Oseary  responded to a Madonna fan on  Twitter , who was asking for the song to be a single from  MDNA . He replied saying the song "is feeling like the next single."   The cover art was released on Madonna's official website on July 13, 2012.    Before the single was released,  Smirnoff  released a seven-track digital remix EP titled  MDNA: Nightlife Edition Remix EP  in the UK to promote the album. It included three remixes of "Turn Up the Radio" by Leo Zero,  Richard Vission  and  Marco V . The mixes by Zero and Vission were also included on the  MDNA: Nightlife Edition  of the album which was exclusively sold in the US.  The single remix  EP  was released on August 3, 2012 in Australia and New Zealand, and August 5, 2012 in the United Kingdom.    The EP included remixes by  Offer Nissim ,  Martin Solveig  and  R3hab .
