New Madonna interview on BBC Radio 2 next week Madonna will be a guest on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon! The episode will air on April 9th on NBC. Jo Whiley will be interviewing Madonna on her BBC Radio 2 show next week. They’ll be catching up and having a chat on Tuesday 31st March, between 8pm and 10pm in what will be her first interview with any radio station in the UK for a long time.

Madonna, Beyoncé, Rihanna and other artists publicly throwing their support behind Jay Z’s new streaming service, Tidal, have been receiving mixed reactions from fans. According to their website, Tidal is the first music streaming service that combines the best High Fidelity sound quality, High Definition music videos and expertly Curated Editorial. They currently have two memberships: $9.99 a month for standard quality sound, or $19.99 a month for “lossless high-fidelity sound.” However, the co-ordinated effort has been hit by a backlash from fans for employing activism tactics to promote an app which helps musicians earn more money rather than using their voice to publicise a genuine charity campaign. The rapper is expected to unveil plans today that will allow artists involved in the service to reap greater financial rewards than the current streaming model Kanye West , Beyonce, Nicki Minaj, Rhianna, Madonna and Coldplay have all changed their Twitter profile photos blue to raise awareness about the service. Jay Z’s company Project Panther bought  Swedish-based company Tidal  for $56m (£38m) two weeks ago. The streaming service, which aims to provide CD-quality streaming, offers subscribers access to 25 million tracks, 75,000 music videos and other content including artist interviews for £19.199 per month. Tidal is available across North America and Europe, but today marks the first time Jay Z will unveil plans for how the streaming service will directly benefit the artists involved.
