JAN 21 2017 // Madonna at Women 's March Full speech and song #WomensMarch Human Nature Washington

Wearing a black  “pussy hat,”  Madonna gave the final speech at the  Women’s March keynote  in D.C., welcoming protesters to the “revolution of love,” while admitting that she desperately thought “a lot” about blowing up the White House. As CNN, MSNBC, and C-Span filmed on, Madonna (with Amy Schumer behind her at one point) delivered multiple instances of the word “fuck” that had the networks speedily cutting away from the expletives. The first emphatically encouraged everyone to wake up. The second and third, she aimed toward  women’s-protest detractors . The full text of her rousing speech below: Hello. Are you still awake out there? Are you sure about that? Can you hear me? Are you ready to shake up the world? Welcome to the revolution of love — to the rebellion and our refusal as women to accept this new age of tyranny. Where not just women are in danger, but all marginalized people. Where being uniquely different right now, might truly be considered a crime. It took thi

Madonna is hoping that President Donald Trump's election will "bring people together"

Madonna hopes Donald Trump's election will "bring people together". The Rebel Heart hitmaker - who was a vocal supporter of the President-elect's rival Hillary Clinton - thinks the former 'Apprentice' star's appointment as commander-in-chief is a sign that US citizens have grown too complacent about their "freedom" and is hoping political changes will bring about wider change. Speaking on a panel l at the Brooklyn Talks at the Brooklyn Museum of Art on Thursday, she said: "It had to happen. I do believe that Trump was elected for a reason; to show us how lazy and ununified and lackadaisical we've become about our freedom. January 11-18 1989 // Madonna Interview : Time Out.

With one platinum hairdo and three platinum albums behind her, not to mention a Broadway stage role, a new album and a possible tour, Madonna has also had more than her share of hard knocks — as recent tabloid revelations confirm. This was a night out with Sean Penn in only slightly less troubled times. ‘Do something, Lou,’ Madonna Louise Ciooone said, leaning forward on the seat. Lou, a beefy-shouldered, balding bodyguard with a tendency to sweat, turned from where he sat in the front seat beside the driver and regarded her pleasantly. Stretch limousines were out by the hundreds — drunken dream fish, silver and schooling there in the late afternoon light in front of Trump Plaza Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City, where Iron Mike Tyson and Michael Spinks were about to go against each other in the convention centre for the pleasure of Madonna and Sean Penn and me and 20.000 other souls, plus untold millions around the world via satellite. ‘Goddamit, do something,’ Madonna said agai
