34 years ago, on March 26 1986, Live To Tell was released..!!

"Live to Tell", showing her first image makeover In December 1985, Madonna starred in the film  Shanghai Surprise , where she toned down her appearance, inspired again by Marilyn Monroe. Madonna held the look for the "Live to Tell" video.  In it her make-up was pale and subtle, her shoulder-length hair was wavy and golden blond, and her clothes consisted of a simple 1930s-style floral dress. In an interview with music critic Stephen Holden from  The New York Times , she commented about her new look: Video Tour "After a while I got sick of wearing tons of jewelry—I wanted to clean myself off. I see my new look as very innocent and feminine and unadorned. It makes me feel good. Growing up, I admired the kind of beautiful glamorous woman—from Brigitte Bardot to Grace Kelly—who doesn't seem to be around much anymore. I think it's time for that kind of glamor to come back. In pop music generally, people have one image. You get pigeonholed. I'm

US Weekly Magazine March 2015: 25 Things You Don’t Know About Madonna..!!

1. My all-time favorite Madonna song is "Bitch, I'm Madonna" - naturally. And my least favorite is "Material Girl." I never, ever want to hear it again! 2. My favorite city is  Rome . It's so beautiful. The light is soothing and calming to me, the architecture is splendid and the food is incredible. I totally love it. 3. I can't stand mushrooms. Or escargot. Yuck! It's like snot. Expensive snot. 4. The person I idolize most is  Paul Farmer . He's a doctor and activist who rebuilt the health-care system in  Haiti  even before the 2010 earthquake. He's done the same in  Rwanda . 5. The last time I went grocery shopping was a year ago. 6. I miss absolutely nothing about growing up in  Michigan . Nothing at all. 7. The person I most want to meet is President Obama. When the heck am I going to meet him? He just needs to invite me to the  White House  already. He probably thinks I'm too shocking to be there. I'm se

March 25, 1991 // Madonna performs "Sooner Or Later" live from the 63rd Annual Academy Awards.

" Sooner or Later (I Always Get My Man) " is a song recorded by the  American   pop   singer   Madonna , and written by the American  composer   Stephen Sondheim , for the 1990  film ,  Dick Tracy .  Released that same year on Madonna's  album   I'm Breathless , the song won Sondheim an  Academy Award for Best Original Song  in 1991. The song's title as listed in the film credits, and in the official  Academy Award  records, includes the subtitle "(I Always Get My Man);" however, this subtitle is not shown on  I'm Breathless .     Story context    The song is the signature song of nightclub singer Breathless Mahoney (portrayed by Madonna), and primarily performed during a montage just after Dick Tracy has placed a microphone in Alphonse "Big Boy" Caprice's boardroom and operator, "Bug" Bailey, in the attic immediately above it while using a police raid of the building as a diversion. March 24, 1996: Razzie Awards: award for 'Worst Supporting Actress' (Madonna)

Worst Supporting Actress Amy the Talking Gorilla in  Congo Bo Derek in  Tommy Boy  as Beverly Barish Gina Gershon in  Showgirls  as Cristal Connors Madonna in  Four Rooms  as Elspeth Lin Tucci in  Showgirls  as Henrietta Bazoom Winner:  Madonna We’ve got some old favorites back.  Bo Derek was nominated for Worst Actress three times between 1981 and 1990.  She won every single time she was nominated.  In between her last win for  Ghost Can’t Do It  and her nomination for  Tommy Boy , Derek appeared in the movie  Woman of Desire  which I haven’t seen but I’m sure it was a family film based on the title and Derek’s involvement.   Woman of Desire  went direct to video, so it wasn’t eligible for Razzie consideration. With  Tommy Boy , two things happened.  Derek shifted into supporting roles and she became eligible for Razzie nominations.  She also kept her clothes on which I suppose is worth mentioning considering her output for the last decade.  Anyway, as soon as Derek

On March 24 1997: "Another Suitcase in Another Hall" was released as the third hit from the soundtrack to Evita.

"Another Suitcase in Another Hall" was released as a European single, and was the third European hit from the soundtrack to Evita. The single includes three other tracks from the film, resulting in its being more of a mini-hits package than anything else. Included is the album version of the song, which finds  Madonna  giving an understated and inspired performance. The single edit of the dance version of "Don't Cry for Me Argentina" is included, as well as the soundtrack's first hit, "You Must Love Me," both of which were hits in the U.S. To round out the package is the soundtrack's "Hello and Goodbye." "Another Suitcase in Another Hall," although a small hit in Europe, is virtually unknown to American audiences (unless one is a fan of the musical). One hopes that this overlooked gem might find its way onto future  Madonna  hits collections, because it is truly a wonderful song. Written by Andrew Lloyd Webber and

March 24, 2012: Madonna signs the Facebook wall before her livestream interview with Jimmy Fallon at the Facebook offices in New York City.

Just days away from the release of her new album,  Madonna  spent Saturday night (March 24) hitting the stage during Day Two of the Ultra Music Festival 14 at Bayfront Park in Miami, Florida. The Material Girl helped introduce performer Avicii, with the trip to the Sunshine State coming just after Madge hooked up with   Jimmy Fallon   for a Facebook interview in New York City earlier in the day. During the livestream event, the 53-year-old was asked if her upcoming tour - which kicks off on May 29th in Israel - will feature what was seen during her recent Super Bowl performance. To this, Madonna replied, "I don't want to repeat myself. I did that already." The Queen of Pop also dished that she likes her concerts to be split into acts, explaining, "I like to have a theme for my show and create a dramatic arc. Then I try to make the songs fit within that arc." Also dishing on why she chose M.I.A. and Nicki Minaj to be featured on MDNA, Madonna a

MADONNA INTERVIEW : ROLLING STONE (MARCH 23 1989)

“Do you see a black jaguar?” The voice, small and insistent, issues from the passenger seat, where the world’s most famous woman burrows deep into the upholstery. She slumps and scrunches, lying decidedly low. Her rump is poised perilously above the floor mat. Her boots are propped against the dashboard. Her tresses are piled beneath a leather cap, and tiny dark specs pinch at her nose. Occasionally her head bobs up, and she peers through the windshield to give navigational tips. Then, just as quickly, she ducks back into hiding. Madonna is on the lam. She is incognito. She is in my car. I am driving her home. It was her idea. “The paparazzi won’t recognize your car.” she says, hatching her intrepid scheme after our first interview session. For her part, Madonna recognizes her most dogged pursuers. She knows what they drive. Every TV in her house is wired to the security system and transmits a continuous picture of the front gate and the street beyond. She sees those who park and
