November 13, 1985 // Madonna Live: The Virgin Tour is the second video album and the first live release by Madonna.

Madonna Live: The Virgin Tour  is the second video album and the first live release by American singer-songwriter Madonna. It was released by Warner Music Video and Sire Records on November 13, 1985 and contains the concert footage from The Virgin Tour, filmed at Cobo Arena in Detroit, Michigan on May 25, 1985. Director Daniel Kleinman, who presided over the shooting of the tour on video, submitted the footage to Warner Bros. Records, who decided to release it as a video album. Madonna wanted to have a proper introduction added before the concert footage and asked director James Foley to shoot one, which portrayed her with her first image makeover, reciting lines related to how she became famous. After its release,   Madonna Live: The Virgin Tour   received mixed reviews from critics, but went on to become a commercial success, topping the Music Video Sales chart of   Billboard   and becoming the top selling music video cassette of 1986. The video was certified two-times  

November 11 1989, Madonna's music video for "Oh Father" premiered on MTV in the US.

After  MTV  world-premiered the video on November 11, 1989, they wanted to pull it off broadcast until the scene with the lips shut was removed. Madonna disagreed and told them that she would cancel future deals with the channel, prompting MTV to air the video again.   The music video has been honored by  Rolling Stone  as one of "The 100 Top Music Videos", placed at number 66.  In 1991, the video received a nomination at the  33rd Grammy Awards , in the category of  Best Short Form Music Video .  Madonna's vision of reconciliation in the music videos of both "Oh Father" and her 1986 single " Papa Don't Preach " was later included in the third level of  Madonna Studies , a controversial development of a field in media studies during the 1990s.  The music video for "Oh Father" is commercially available on Madonna's  The Immaculate Collection  (1990)  DVD / VHS  compilation. Confessions on a Dance Floor  is the tenth studio album by Madonna . It was released on November 11, 2005 by  Warner Bros. Records . A complete departure from her previous studio album  American Life  (2003), the album includes influences of 1970s and 1980s disco, as well as modern-day club music.

7 November 2016 // Madonna Gives Surprise Performance in New York's Washington Square Park in Support of Hillary Clinton.

Madonna holds a rally in NYC to support Hillary Clinton at Washington Square Park on Nov. 7, 2016 in New York City. Madonna  gave New Yorkers the surprise of a lifetime when she serenaded the crowd at Washington Square Park on Monday night (Nov. 7) with a special acoustic performance in support of Hillary Clinton. She stood in the center of Washington Square Fountain surrounded by a group comprised mostly of NYU students who cheered as she performed covers of  John Lennon ’s “Imagine” and  Peter, Paul and Mary ’s “If I Had A Hammer,” as well as her own songs “Rebel Heart” and “Like A Prayer.” She amped up the crowd and encouraged everyone to get to the polls Tuesday (Nov. 8) to vote, saying, “Vote with your heart, vote with your mind, vote with your spirit, vote with your soul.
