The Material Mom, promoting new album "MDNA,"
When Madonna is not busy multi-tasking, she takes a tweet-break. But, of course, it's work-related.
The Material Mom returns to Twitter Wednesday night for a Q&A with fans as part of a promotional duties for her eighth No. 1 album, MDNA.
She'll reply to fan tweets beginning at 10 p.m. on the handle @MadonnaMDNAday. No stranger to controversy, in her first go-round on the social-networking site last week, she courted some critics.
Among them was EDM (electronic dance music) star Deadmau5, who slammed Madonna over her casual use of a slang term for the drug ecstasy during her cameo at Miami's Ultra Music Festival. (She responded by posting a photo of herself with mouse ears and an explanation for dropping the term "Molly": "From one mouse to another. I don't support drug use and I never have.")

She also provoked an insult from CNN's Piers Morgan, notable Madonna antagonist, who wrote: "Welcome to Twitter @MadonnaMDNAday -- you're still banned from my show. Love Piers x."
Madonna also addressed some good-natured softball queries, such as "What is your favorite place to hide?" (her response: “In my bathroom”) and "Have you ever worn a Snuggie? (“No, but Lola has.")
Meanwhile, MDNA is poised to sell more 359,000 copies its first week, according to Nielsen SoundScan, and debut atop the Billboard 200.
The pop queen's concert tour kicks off May 29 in Israel, and her longtime manager, Guy Oseary, told The Hollywood Reporter that she has other Middle Eastern countries in her sights.
"We would love to go play Iran," Oseary said. "We would love to play Lebanon, Egypt and Syria at some point. … Obviously, it’s just not possible."
