Madonna teams a 'Vogue' emblazoned cap with a tracksuit as she is joined by her daughters at Kabbalah centre | Mail Online

She said on Friday that her daughter doesn't speak to her now that she has an iPhone.
But Madonna, a self-confessed 'strict' mother, can't have been too serious as she showed up a the Kabbalah centre in New York City on Saturday with Lourdes, 16, and Mercy, eight, as well as her toyboy Brahim Zaibat.
The 54-year-old pop icon was clad in extremely loose-fitting track pants and a hoodie, but topped off the outfit with a cap with the word 'Vogue' emblazoned across it.

The blonde songstress did not seem fazed by the summer heat as she wore rather large, baggy track pants over white sneakers.
A white T-shirt was seen poking out beneath her black hooded sweater, also quite oversized.
Madonna shielded her eyes with large sunglasses and appeared to be on a mission as she headed to the center.

Inspired by Brahim? Madonna's look for the day was certainly a far cry from her sexy on-stage personas, and much closer to that of her younger boyfriend Brahim Zaibat
Though Madonna was most certainly not in vogue in the ensemble, the cap matched her boyish style for the day, and of course represented one of her most famous songs.
Meanwhile, her daughter Lourdes was also casually dressed but well and truly in her own style.
The brunette daughter of the Queen of Pop wore cropped grey track pants and a white basic t-shirt, with Converse high-tops.

The teen carried a novel by the name of The Book Thief, written by Australian author Markus Zusak, set in Nazi Germany and listed on The New York Times Best Seller list for over 230 weeks.
Mercy, Madonna's eight-year-old adopted daughter looked positively radiant in a bright summer dress featuring stripes and flowers.
Brahim Zaibat, the singer's 25-year-old boyfriend, also joined them for the outing in a ripped t-shirt and skinny jeans, but looked to be spending a bit of time on his mobile phone.

Madonna told Good Morning America on Friday - only half in jest - that 'Ever since my daughter got an iPhone she stopped talking to me.'
She confessed to being a 'pretty strict' mother and added, 'Seeing my daughter at 16 - it's kind of uncomfortable,'
Continuing to express her concern at her children growing up, the Material Girl added that her 12-year-old son Rocco is now 'a foot taller' with facial hair and is 'looking at girl's butts,' which she described as 'terrible'.

The Making of Madonna’s First Album Cover

Carin Goldberg — the art director behind Madonna’s debut album cover — spoke to  the Cut  about her first experience with the then-unknown pop star. It’s the first question that anybody asks me, even today: What was it like to work with Madonna? People think that maybe something dramatic or interesting or kind of wild might have happened, based on, you know, Madonna’s persona. But I would say that Madonna was probably the easiest job I ever had — the most cooperation from a recording artist I think I ever had. She was a true professional, even at that young age. It was ’83, and at that point I had my own small design firm. Warner Bros. called and asked me to do her cover as a freelance designer. When I got the call, I rolled my eyes, because it was another [musician with a] one-word name. At that time it had become cliché to have a one-word name, because of Cher, so I remember thinking, God, it’s going to be one of those. So I really went into it with very little expec...
