Madonna Takes Daughter Lourdes and Friends to Dinner After Brahim Zaibat Breakup

Lourdes Leon, Madonna
Madonna clearly isn't letting something like a breakup get in the way of enjoying a good meal.
Just hours after a rep for the singer confirmed to E! News that the 55-year-old pop icon and her 25-year-old boyfriend Brahim Zaibat had called it quits, Madonna was spotted having dinner at Stanton Social in New York City on Wednesday, Dec. 11.
A source tells E! News that Madonna was joined by six others, including daughterLourdes, and was sporting a sleeveless white top and jeans.
We're told the group ordered tuna poke, shishito peppers, veggie sliders, butternut squash ravioli as well as macaroni and cheese.
And apparently they didn't hesitate to indulge in some dessert, with our source saying Madonna and company enjoyed a variety of sweets like chocolate mousse, pumpkin sundaes, donuts, hot chocolate and cheesecake.
Earlier in the week, Madonna cheered Lourdes on as the 17-year-old performed as Betty Rizzo in her high school's production of Grease.
According to the New York Daily News, Lourdes nailed the memorable character, writing, "[Lourdes] had comic chops and confidence on stage. She delivered Rizzo's zingers with hands on her hips and a lot of attitude."

The Making of Madonna’s First Album Cover

Carin Goldberg — the art director behind Madonna’s debut album cover — spoke to  the Cut  about her first experience with the then-unknown pop star. It’s the first question that anybody asks me, even today: What was it like to work with Madonna? People think that maybe something dramatic or interesting or kind of wild might have happened, based on, you know, Madonna’s persona. But I would say that Madonna was probably the easiest job I ever had — the most cooperation from a recording artist I think I ever had. She was a true professional, even at that young age. It was ’83, and at that point I had my own small design firm. Warner Bros. called and asked me to do her cover as a freelance designer. When I got the call, I rolled my eyes, because it was another [musician with a] one-word name. At that time it had become cliché to have a one-word name, because of Cher, so I remember thinking, God, it’s going to be one of those. So I really went into it with very little expec...
