Rocco Ritchie: 4 Ways He's Just Like Mom Madonna

(omg!) The 13-year-old son of the singer and British director Guy Ritchie also shares some of the irreverent pop star's personality traits. As he's grown into a teen, the younger half-brother of Lourdes, 16, and the older brother of 8-year-olds David and Mercy, is acting more and more like his mum.
Let's count the ways:
1. He's got moves! Rocco has danced and played DJ at several of his mom's appearances in the last couple of years and, well, he's a little too good for Madge's tastes. "He's disconcertingly comfortably on stage," she revealed last year at the premiere of the documentary on her 2012 MDNA tour, where he was shown busting a move during the film. And while a lot of kids his age wouldn't be willing to dance with their parents anywhere — let alone in public! — Rocco still loves rocking out with his supercool mom.

2. He's daring. No, of course, he hasn't done anything as wild as the controversial "Like a Prayer" video or kiss Britney Spears onstage … but give him a few years. As a kid, Rocco has found other ways to scare himself. He regularly practices parkour, never shying away from a chance to tumble, dive, or jump on a high bar or trampoline.

3. And — aw! — he's caring. Rocco's learned to be a giving person while being raised by a philanthropic mom with two adopted children from Malawi. Just last month, Rocco traveled with Madonna to Haiti to help with her ex-hubby Sean Penn's J/P Haitian Relief Organization aimed at supporting the nation's recovery from the devastating earthquake that took place there in 2010. Part of the reason Rocco's such a good guy is probably the fact that Madonna has always been a "strict" parent, according to what he said on "Ellen" last year.

4. Even at 13, he's stylish. The guy knows how to look good. Really, though, how could the son of a woman with one of the most iconic looks of the '80s help but pick up a few of her fashion tips? And since his big sister, Lourdes (who goes by Lola), is a co-designer of Madonna's Material Girl line at Macy's, it's no surprise Rocco has style. He's already a trendsetter — thanks to social media — with more than 40,120 followers on Instagram.
How long do you think it'll be before Rocco has his own line?

The Making of Madonna’s First Album Cover

Carin Goldberg — the art director behind Madonna’s debut album cover — spoke to  the Cut  about her first experience with the then-unknown pop star. It’s the first question that anybody asks me, even today: What was it like to work with Madonna? People think that maybe something dramatic or interesting or kind of wild might have happened, based on, you know, Madonna’s persona. But I would say that Madonna was probably the easiest job I ever had — the most cooperation from a recording artist I think I ever had. She was a true professional, even at that young age. It was ’83, and at that point I had my own small design firm. Warner Bros. called and asked me to do her cover as a freelance designer. When I got the call, I rolled my eyes, because it was another [musician with a] one-word name. At that time it had become clichĆ© to have a one-word name, because of Cher, so I remember thinking, God, it’s going to be one of those. So I really went into it with very little expec...

In honour of  amFAR  (The American Foundation for AIDS Research), Gaultier held a fashion benefit whose runway included everything from lip-synching to Dr Ruth dressed in rubber to raise money for a cause that devastated (and continues to devastate) communities around the world. "Tonight will be about protection... wear rubber and protect yourself!" – Jean Paul Gaultier "Tonight will be about protection... wear rubber and protect yourself!" explained Gaultier before the show. On July 10 1985, The Playboy magazine issue of nude Madonna photos was released !!

Playboy  publishes nude photos of  Madonna  taken before she was famous. The singer did a number of nude photo shoots from 1977-1980, starting when she was an 18-year-old student at the University of Michigan looking for some extra cash and trying to form a band. Now a huge star,  Playboy  publishes some of the shots taken in 1979 and 1980 in a revealing spread. A year earlier, the magazine turned down nude photos of Miss America winner  Vanessa Williams , which their rival  Penthouse  published. "We think Vanessa genuinely didn't know what she was doing, didn't know her photos might be published," the article states. "Madonna, on the other hand, posed repeatedly for two noted photographers who routinely publish what they shoot." One of the photographers, Lee Friedlander, says of the shoot: "She seemed very confident, a street-wise girl." Madonna has little to say on the matter, but doesn't shy away. "I'm not ashamed,...
