AUG 14, 2017 // Italian newspaper La Repubblica has announced, Madonna returns to Puglia at Borgo Egnazia: to celebrate her 59th birthday with her children.

BRINDISI - Madonna is in Puglia. The popstar arrived with a private jet, landed on the night at Brindisi airport, along with their children, to celebrate the 59th birthday on August 16th. Everything is ready for the welcome at Borgo Egnazia, the starry home in the Savelletri countryside in Fasano (Brindisi) where he had already stayed last year.

It is not the first statement of love for the territory that hosted the artist last summer. The first landing in Puglia of Lady Ciccone dates back to July 25, 2016. On that date, Madonna published the photo of a sunset between the walls of the extrasignal relay with a margin commentary: "Stairway to heaven ... The evidence of its brilliance," revealing his stay at Savelletri.

Not only Valle d'Itria, Madonna Louise Veronica Ciccone danced in the villages of Lecce and visited the Abbey of Santa Maria a Cerrate. Staged social events and enthusiasm for both the beauty of the venues and the quality of food and wine. A blubber that deserved it: after having celebrated her birthdays on the Riviera, Madonna chose Puglia. Augustine Holidays from the Top Secret Program, at least until the next post.

The Making of Madonna’s First Album Cover

Carin Goldberg — the art director behind Madonna’s debut album cover — spoke to  the Cut  about her first experience with the then-unknown pop star. It’s the first question that anybody asks me, even today: What was it like to work with Madonna? People think that maybe something dramatic or interesting or kind of wild might have happened, based on, you know, Madonna’s persona. But I would say that Madonna was probably the easiest job I ever had — the most cooperation from a recording artist I think I ever had. She was a true professional, even at that young age. It was ’83, and at that point I had my own small design firm. Warner Bros. called and asked me to do her cover as a freelance designer. When I got the call, I rolled my eyes, because it was another [musician with a] one-word name. At that time it had become cliché to have a one-word name, because of Cher, so I remember thinking, God, it’s going to be one of those. So I really went into it with very little expec...
